It comes with a new tag-team system as well as original voice acting and music from the original anime game Naruto. There are over thirty playable characters from which the player can choose his favourite one to start his fighting career. It comprises the Search for Tsunade, Return of Itachi, and Sasuke Retrieval storylines and some flashbacks of the previous titles. The storyline of the game starts where the previous title left off, taking place between episodes eighty-one to one-hundred-and-thirty-five.
